Our Manufacturing Household Textile Client is offering an exciting Sewing Learnership (CTFL National Certificate – NQF Level 2) for 2026

We strongly encourage persons with disabilities to apply. This learnership is designed to create accessible skills development and long-term career opportunities within the Clothing, Textile, Footwear & Leather (CTFL) industry.

Remuneration: R3 500 per month

About the Learnership

This accredited programme provides structured training, practical experience and personal development to help you build a solid foundation in textile manufacturing.

What You Will Learn
Learners will gain hands-on skills in:

Monitoring production processes and applying quality standards
Understanding CTFL materials, machinery and operations
Performing sewing and general production tasks
Pressing and finishing garments
Workplace health, safety and environmental practices
Communication and basic maths for the workplace
Understanding workplace legislation and productivity requirements

Programme Structure

Training includes both theory and practical experience across:

Health & Safety
Manufacturing & Quality Standards
Production Concepts
Pressing & Finishing
Communication Skills
Mathematical Skills

Entry Requirements
Grade 9 / NQF Level 1 or ABET Level 4
Basic Communication & Mathematical Literacy (ABET Level 3)
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) available
Ability to complete practical assessments in a workplace environment
